Barack is like the manager of Burger King, all presidents are, including Bush. It's like this: when
your fries are cold, if your burger's not done right, you go back to Burger King, "America, or your government," and you say, "My burger's cold. I want new fries." First, you go to the cashier, that's the courts, you argue to the courts, the courts if you can't get no justice with the cashier, you say, "Let me see the manager, I wanna go to the supreme court. I wanna see the president." The manager comes out, "Hi, what can I do for you?" Now, the manager can override the decisions of the cashier, but you never get to see the franchise owner of Burger King. If you really have a problem with your burger, you need to go see the franchise owner. We need to go to the top. Or to the bottom [groans]. We need to go to where the real architecture of government is, and it's not in a president. It's in a global scheme.
When I think of politics and the economy, my first thought is: "I wonder what KRS-ONE has to say on the matter; and can he turn his opinion into a not-so-logical fast food analogy?"

Politics in America today is identical to pro-wrestling. And what I mean by that is, in front of the cameras and the public, we all hate each other.

It's showbiz. And that's what you have today in politics. The Democrats and
Republicans aren't really opposed to each other.
Just like with Ron Paul, I wonder why Alex Jones believes all politicians are selected for us, except a tiny few, one being Jesse Ventura. This man shows up in several Alex Jones films as some kind of "expert" on how corrupt the system is. I don't deny that the system is corrupt, but I deny that Jesse Ventura is worth listening to.
The joke's on Ventura, politics has always been showbiz. I wonder if Alex Jones knows about Ventura's campaigning for gay rights and that he said he'd gladly serve along side homosexuals in the military[13]. I ask this because in movies like Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove (and its follow up) Alex Jones pretty much expressed at least a mild homophobia.

It's pretty obvious that there's some gigantic financial institutions that have been
pullin' the strings of politicians in this country for a long time. And, the-the, just the fact we have it set up where they can donate millions of dollars to these guys' funds, these guys' campaigns. I mean, how do we not expect it all to go bad?
Why are Alex Jones' best experts always failed politicians, entertainers, and/or conspiracy theorists?

America in 2009 was desperate for change. The past eight years had been a disaster.
From what I've seen, Alex Jones believes it's been a disaster since the founding of the Federal Reserve and everyone politician (except the ones he likes) are a part of the grand scheme.

This is from the Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner in 2004. While it was a joke, it was really an insensitive one, and really makes light of a situation where the US is sending in their fighting men and women[14].

George W. Bush, who had claimed to be a conservative, had tripled the size of the federal government, shredded the
constitution and destroyed the image of the United States worldwide.
Claiming George W Bush wasn't conservative is an attempt by Alex Jones to distance himself from Bush. Alex Jones views himself (and those who he likes) as the true conservatives and everyone else is just non-conservative. While George W. Bush did screw up a lot of things, he did things like passing a $1.3 trillion tax cut and also committed $15 billion to AIDS prevention[15][16]; conversely he also initiated two wars, helped pass the Homeland Security Act[17]. Depending on your political stance, things like Medicare Part D might be bad as well[18]. And honestly, if Alex Jones believes George W Bush destroyed the image of the United States world wide, perhaps Alex Jones needs to learn about all those dictatorships during the cold war.
