Level: 10 CS Original | You misunderstand, the school board had a case brought against THEM. It was a huge deal, you should check out details of the trial. It was much more than you are making it out to be, like some kind of in and out Judge Judy case. It was quite a landmark. ID as we know it is dead they will have to retreat to an even more "JAQing off" style criticism of evolution. | |||||

Level: 10 CS Original | I know people in Texas like Aron "AronRa" Nelson, I listened to Dr Ken Miller who testified in the trial talk about this subject and Ive been debating Creationism on the net for 6 years, so I do know that Dover was pretty significant yes. | |||||

Some advertising agency would be contracted by far rightwing Christian groups to manufacture a controversy and con people into fighting this crusade for them. Then, when it became clear that the were going to lose they left the people they had conned high and dry. I think people have learned their lesson. Flock of Dodos covers it all pretty well. I appreciate your concern, but really, its a dead issue in America. | |||||
