What are the implications of this?

This is from "What the BLEEP do we know?"

So I assumed that it was somehow BS. Either all, partially, or taken out of context, etc.

But I'm no physicist, so I turn to the people here.

So, Dr. Quantum and his 'lessons' are taken into the wrong context to support the BS movie.

Yes, his lessons are actually really good, you should check out more of them (provided they're not wrapped in new age bullshit).

I'm confused I watched the link and it seemed like a physics lesson, with no real explanation at the end just observation. What is it your trying to debunk? The comments make me think they used this in some other video like how zeitgeist just took parts of the movie "The Network" and you are asking me to debunk "The network".

But it talks about that afterward Omni, it's just a way to explain it and to talk about how unusual it is, it doesn't claim that the electron can actually know, see, or sense anything. Like I said, there's nothing to debunk, especially not analogies. The video is fine, it's not meant for physics students, but young people, so they have to explain things in a manner which isn't that complicated, and saying "as if" is still not the same thing as saying "is," it's not stating a fact, it's stating an analogy to later explain a fact.

Oh so you thought that the video was saying particals were aware of their surroundings?????????
I didn't really take that from it but I could understand how that could be percived that way.

The movie ends with the guy saying the electron's behavior changed upon observation. I think this is best suited for a science class intro that segues into a scientific explanation.

The electron's behavior changes because photons bounce off the observer and onto the electron, correct?

Maybe if we all closed our eyes, crazy shit would happen.
